  • Triumph Group ( NYSE: TGI ) on Tuesday said one of its businesses had been awarded a development contract from Swiss helicopter company Kopter.
  • TGI did not disclose the contract value.
  • The contract was awarded to TGI's Actuation Products & Services business in France.
  • "The contract includes the manufacturing of the Kopter AW09 main and tail rotor control cables utilizing TRIUMPH's industry leading flexball cable design," the company said in a statement .
  • Triumph ( TGI ) stock earlier closed -0.9% at $12.11.
