UNP - U.S. weekly rail traffic improves 1.9% as majority carload commodities trend higher

The Association of American Railroads ((AAR)) reports total weekly US rail traffic up 1.9% Y/Y to 520,452 carloads and intermodal units for the week ending Oct. 10, 2020.Total intermodal volume was 289,488 up 8.4%, offsetting the carloads volume decline of 5.2% to 230,964.6 of the 10 carload commodity groups posted an increase, with grains up 6,531.
