  • Village Farms International ( NASDAQ: VFF ) said Friday it got a notice from Nasdaq saying that the company is not in compliance with the minimum bid price requirement.

  • The notification has no immediate effect on the listing of the company’s common shares on the Nasdaq.

  • If the company does not regain compliance by October 17, 2023, the company may be eligible for an additional period of 180 calendar days or may be subject to delisting, at which time it may appeal the delisting determination to a Nasdaq Hearings Panel.
