Village Farms International (VFF) inks agreements with certain institutional investors for the purchase and sale of 10,887,097 common shares at $12.40 (~CAD$15.70)/per share in a registered direct offering.Gross proceeds are ~$135M (~CAD$171M).Net proceeds will be used for general working capital purposes.A.G.P./Alliance Global Partners and Raymond James USA Ltd. is acting as co-lead placement agents and Roth Capital Partners is acting as co-placement agent for the offering.Closing date is January 20.Shares are down 7.6% PM.
