VHC - VirnetX shares dip after losing appeals court ruling in Apple patent case

Last July, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board determined that two VirnetX (VHC) patents were invalid, a win for Apple in the longstanding legal battle between the companies.The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has now ruled against VirnetX's request to vacate teh patent board ruling ahead of the next trial.VHC shares are currently down 4.9% to $5.78.In January, VirnetX submitted a bill for a $75M portion of a jury award related to other Apple's infringement of other patents.
