VHC - VirnetX submits bill for $75 million portion of Apple suit award

Last week, VirnetX (VHC) was awarded $502.8M, pre- and post-trial interest, damages costs, and ongoing royalties in a final judgement in its longstanding Apple suit.Today, VirnetX announces submitting an agreed bill of costs and prejudgement interest totaling $75,701,763.18.Post-trial interest, supplemental damages, and the total amount of the ongoing $0.84 royalty per infringing Apple device have yet to be determined.VHC shares are up 4.5% to $5.39.In November, VHC shares jumped after a jury decided Apple would pay $502.8M for patent infringement.
