VNRX - VolitionRx sinks 19% after hours on stock offering plans
- VolitionRx ( NYSE: VNRX ) on Thursday said it has commenced an underwritten public offering of shares of its common stock.
- Shares -19.1% at $1.65 after hours.
- In addition, Volition intends to grant the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the common stock.
- All of the shares of common stock in the offering are being offered by Volition.
- Volition intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for research and continued product development, clinical studies, product commercialization, working capital and other general corporate purposes, including potential strategic acquisitions.
- Newbridge Securities is acting as the sole book-running manager of the offering.
- Other pricing and offering terms were not disclosed.
