SHEL - Volta ticks higher after shareholders vote to approve sale to Shell (update)

Update 10:42pm : Adds Volta confirmation.

Volta ( NYSE: VLTA ) ticked up 1% after shareholders voted to approve its planned sale to Shell plc ( NYSE: SHEL ) for ~$169 million.
Holders of the electric vehicle charging company approved the deal on Wednesday, Volta ( VLTA ) confirmed in a statement. The deal is expected to close on or about Friday.
Volta ( VLTA ) went public in August 2021 as part of its merger with special purpose acquisition company TortoiseCorp II.
In January Volta ( VLTA ) agreed to be acquired by Shell ( SHEL ) for 0.86/share in cash.
