CA - West Fraser President/CEO Ferris to retire at year-end succeeded by McLaren

West Fraser Timber ( NYSE: WFG ) said Thursday that President and CEO Ray Ferris plans to retire at the end of this year , to be succeeded by current COO Sean McLaren.

Ferris has spent 26 years at West Fraser ( WFG ), culminating in his appointment as President and COO in 2018 and as President and CEO and a board member in 2019.

McLaren began his career with West Fraser ( WFG ) in 2005, rising through the ranks before becoming President of the Solid Wood division in 2021.

West Fraser ( WFG ) recently reported a Q2 loss of $1.57/share on revenues of $1.61B.
