WPRT - Westport Fuel wins Euro38M program to supply LPG fuel systems to global OEM

Westport Fuel Systems ( NASDAQ: WPRT ) +6.9% pre-market after announcing late Monday that it was awarded a program to develop and supply liquefied petroleum gas systems for "Euro 6" vehicle applications for an unnamed global original equipment manufacturer.

Westport ( WPRT ) also will develop fuel systems to respond to future regulations including proposed "Euro 7" standards.

The company expects the deal will provide €38M in revenue through year-end 2025, with production expected to begin in Q4 2023.

In its Q1 results, Westport ( WPRT ) reported better than expected GAAP earnings of $0.04/share on revenues of $76M .
