U.S. stocks traded higher midway through trading, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 100 points on Wednesday.
The Dow traded up 0.14% to 34,900.33 while the NASDAQ rose 0.69% to 14,040.27. The S&P 500, also rose, gaining, 0.44% to 4,517.52.

In trading on Wednesday, utilities shares fell by 0.5%.
