10x Genomics ( NASDAQ: TXG ) has filed new patent infringement lawsuits against NanoString ( NASDAQ: NSTG ) and Vizgen in the European Unified Patent Court.
The life sciences toolmaker said the suits against NanoString allege NanoString's CosMx products for RNA detection infringe on European patents EP 928 and EP 782. The suit against Vizgen alleges infringement on EP 782 by Vizgen's Merscope products.
On May 17, a German court issued a permanent injunction against the sale and supplying of certain CosMx products in Germany that were found to have infringed on EP 928. The judgment is subject to appeal, according to 10x Genomics.
