- AppFolio's ( NASDAQ: APPF ) board has unanimously elected Shane Trigg to succeed Jason Randall as president and CEO, effective immediately, the company, a provider of cloud business management solutions for the real estate space, said Thursday.
- Randall, who has served as president and CEO since 2017, will be a transition advisor to the company until March 31.
- With more than 25 years worth of experience working at prominent software firms such as Salesforce ( CRM ) and Intuit ( INTU ), Trigg joined AppFolio ( APPF ) in April 2020 as the general manager of Real Estate where he led strategy and operations for the company's Property Manager product and service offerings. He was named president of Real Estate last month.
- In addition, Trigg will take over Randall's board seat, APPF noted. Klaus Schauser, the company's co-founder and former chief strategy officer, will transition from a board director to a board observer, with former Dropbox executive Olivia Nottebohm filling his vacant seat.
- On January 26, the company's forth-quarter earnings and revenue each topped Wall Street expectations.
