Arizona Silver Exploration vice presidentof exploration Greg Hahn joined Proactive's Steve Darling to sharerecently shared some exciting news that it has obtained highlyencouraging results from re-assays using the metallic screen procedureon specific drill holes at its Philadelphia gold project in Arizona.
According to Hahn, the intervalwith the highest grade that underwent re-assaying showed a substantialincrease of 42.2%. The gold grade rose from 51 grams per ton (Gpt) to72.5 Gpt. As part of the spring 2023 drilling program, the companyselected a total of 24 samples comprising both high and low-gradematerial for re-assaying. These samples were chosen based on thepresence of visible gold.
Hahn further explained that theapplication of the Metallic Screen process resulted in an averagegrade increase of 25.9% across the selected sample suite. There-assaying of low-grade samples using the metallic screen methoddemonstrated grade discrepancies generally below 0.5 gpt gold, withthe majority falling below 0.1 gpt gold. This suggests that coarsegold is not a significant concern in the lower grade samples submittedfor metallic screen analyses.
