- Barnes & Noble Education ( NYSE: BNED ) on Thursday said its CFO Thomas Donohue would step down, effective April 28.
- Donohue submitted his resignation on Wednesday, BNED said in a regulatory filing .
- The company said it had launched an external search for a new CFO.
- In the interim, Donohue's former duties will be performed by the company's existing finance team under the supervision of CEO Michael Huseby.
- Barnes & Noble Education ( BNED ) stock was down 2.5% to $1.58 after hours.
