- Barron's Weekly listed 138 companies "likely to be the most influential names in the coming years" as a Future Focus Stock Index (BFFSI).
- "Our goal is for the index to outpace the benchmark S&P 500" says Barron's. Back testing showed 5yr cumulative returns of 257% for BFFSI vs. 127% for the S&P 500.
- The index includes long-term effective management data parsed by the Drucker Institute in CA, fused with qualitative innovative analysis from Barron's Next 50 newsroom. The index will be rebalanced twice annually.
- Top ten dividend BFFSI stocks, VIAC, MRK, INTC, BMY, HAS, MO, JNJ, VFC, KO, and PG boasted projected net gains from 9.53% to 31.13% to 2022.
- $5k invested in the lowest-priced five of ten top yield Barron's Future Focus dividend dogs showed 25.71% LESS net gain than from $5k invested in all ten. The bigger (higher priced) BFFSI dividend dogs led this pack in May.
