Baselode Energy CEO James Sykes joinedSteve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has announcedthe successful completion of a comprehensive drill program on theACKIO uranium zone within the Hook project, situated in the AthabascaBasin area of Northern Saskatchewan.
This endeavor encompassed 36 drill holes spanning a total of7,512 meters. Notably, the ACKIO zone itself accounted for 30 of thesedrill holes, totaling 6,193 meters.
Sykes highlighted key outcomes and achievements derived fromthis drill program. Several drill holes intercepted elevated levels ofradioactivity, indicating the potential expansion of the mineralizedfootprint. This is a significant indication of the presence ofvaluable mineral resources within the project area.
The company achieved multiple milestones, including the extension of mineralization along strike and at depth, the discovery of additional shallow mineralization (such as Pod 7),the identification of thicker mineralized zones within previouslymodeled areas, and the delineation of a new trend of mineralization atthe Mirror target.
The Mirrortarget is particularly noteworthy for displaying intense alterationover a width of 300 meters.
These findings underscore theproject's potential and hint at the presence of substantialuranium mineralization. The accumulation of positive results from thedrill program reflects the effectiveness of Baselode Energy'sexploration efforts and underscores the company's ability to makemeaningful strides in understanding the geology and resource potentialof the Athabasca Basin region.
