Baselode Energy CEO James Sykes joinedSteve Darling from Proactive to provide an update on the drillingprogram at the Hook project, with a specific focus on the high-gradeuranium zone known as ACKIO. The company has allocated a total of10,000 meters for the drilling program, with 7,500 meters dedicated todelineation and expansion diamond drilling on ACKIO, and 2,500 metersallocated for reconnaissance exploration in a key location.
Sykes informed Proactive that HoleAK23-095, drilled at the ACKIO target, has yielded impressive results. It ranks as the fourth-best drill hole in terms of totalradioactivity, with a reading of 1,019 counts per second (cps) over a35.75-meter interval starting at a depth of 36 meters. The initialholes of the program primarily focused on infill and definitiondrilling of Pods 4 and 5. Hole AK23-095, on the other hand, wasspecifically designed for the delineation and expansion drilling ofPods 1, 2, and 7. Notably, Pod 7 remains open to the west, indicatingthe potential for further mineralization.
With 15 drill holescompleted thus far in the program, Baselode Energy continues to makesignificant progress in understanding the geological characteristicsof the ACKIO high-grade uranium zone.
