Boeing ( NYSE: BA ) reported a five-month low of 26 aircraft deliveries in July, the company's biggest monthly decline since before the 737 MAX was cleared to return to service in December 2020.
July deliveries included 23 737 MAX jets and three wide-body freighters, bringing total deliveries so far this year to 242 including MAX deliveries of 212 jets.
Boeing's ( BA ) monthly deliveries have fluctuated significantly this year, and June had seen a sharp upward swing to 51.
Boeing ( BA ) confirmed orders for a combined 125 MAX jets from Delta Air Lines and Qatar Airways, bringing gross orders to 130 planes for July and 416 YTD.
After cancellations of four planes in July, Boeing's ( BA ) net orders totaled 126 planes in July and 312 YTD.
Airbus ( OTCPK:EADSF ) ( OTCPK:EADSY ) earlier reported comparable YTD net orders of 656 planes after a major deal with China .
