When I last wrote about British American Tobacco p.l.c. ( BTI ) ( BTAFF ) or BAT in April, its valuations indicated ~12% price upside for 2025. A bigger increase was possible at the present time of uncertainty. Consumer staples were a good defensive sector to buy into and BTI has the additional allure of rich dividends at a time when there was a question mark on potential capital gains....
