- The billionaire activist investor disclosed the information in his latest 13F filing for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2022, published after hours on Tuesday.
- Icahn trimmed his stake in natural gas producer Cheniere Energy ( NYSE: LNG ) by 52.6% to 1M shares in Q4 from 2.1M shares in Q3.
- Icahn also cut his stake in equipment rental company Herc Holdings ( NYSE: HRI ) by 8.1% to about 3.70M shares in Q4 from 4.02M shares in Q3.
- Icahn's latest 13F filing did not include the stake of around 12.5M shares he had disclosed in Q3 in Twitter, as the company was taken private by Elon Musk after the third quarter ended. WSJ had reported last year that Icahn may have made a profit of over $250M on the Twitter stake.
