- Carvana ( NYSE: CVNA ) shares slipped 5% at market open on Wednesday after the used car retailer extended the expiration date for its previously-announced offers to exchange outstanding existing notes for up to $1B of new secured notes.
- The offers, which were originally scheduled to expire on April 19, 2023, will now cease on May 3, 2023. As the withdrawal deadline has passed, existing notes tendered in the offers may not be withdrawn.
- Eligible holders who validly tender existing notes at or before the new expiration time will be eligible to receive an early exchange premium.
- In addition, exchange offer relating to 5.625% Senior Notes due 2025 has been amended to increase its exchange consideration.
