CaspinResources Ltd (ASX:CPN) CEO Greg Miles tells Proactive the companyhas intersected further high-grade platinum group element (PGE)mineralisation in recent drilling at Serradella Prospect within theYarawindah Brook Project in Western Australia.
The drill programreturned strong results, including 18 metres at 1.56 g/t 4E(platinum+palladium+rhodium+gold), 0.33% nickel and 0.34% copper from59 metres. During the program, Caspin also received first-pass soilgeochemical results from a new target in the north of the projectarea, which presents another opportunity for the discovery ofnear-surface PGE-nickel-copper mineralisation.
“It is pleasing tohave received further high-grade PGE hits at the Serradella Prospectfrom the remaining assays of the program.
“We have made significant advancements inunderstanding the mineralisation controls at Serradella and recognisethat high-grade mineralisation remains open and potentially close tosurface.
“Morebroadly, we have commenced a review of past exploration and furtherinterpretation of the Yarabrook Intrusion that could yield furtheropportunities.
“We have longrecognised the mineral potential throughout the project area, so weare pleased to have identified a new soil geochemical anomaly in anarea that hasn’t received any form of modernexploration.”
