I have created two portfolios, which I refer to as my combined portfolio. My goal is to create a dividend portfolio capable of delivering an annual dividend yield in the range of 3-6% of the current market value. However, the dividend percentage is rather irrelevant at the point of retirement and my desire to supplement my anticipated social security. The importance is the actual dollar value being generated by the dividend payments. My goal is to leave some of the dividend income for reinvestment and continued portfolio growth during our retired years. Our retirement income
