Comstock ( NYSE: LODE ) +8.9% post-market after saying Monday it filed for a new patent to produce renewable diesel, marine, sustainable aviation fuel and gasoline from wood biomass, "at dramatically improved yield, efficiency and cost in comparison to all known methods."
Comstock ( LODE ) said its plans to decarbonize with renewable fuels "involves abundant feedstocks that are not used today, enabling a vast untapped energy source with superior benefits."
Based on current performance data, the company projects fuel yields exceeding 80 gal/dry ton with lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions reductions of more than 80% compared with petroleum.
In its latest quarterly report, Comstock ( LODE ) posted a Q1 GAAP loss of $0.09/share and negligible revenues .
