Consumer Discretionary ((XLY)) stocks popped up on my radar earlier this year due to their earnings growth outlook, labor market, and consumer trends. The sector has outperformed the broad market this year but performance within the sector is spotty. The companies that are doing well are doing very well and those that aren't are lagging by a large margin.
