- Corporación América Airports ( NYSE: CAAP ) said on Friday that its February passenger traffic increased 35.5% on a yearly basis, reaching 88.1% of pre-pandemic, or February 2019, levels.
- The growth was supported by an ongoing recovery in travel demand after the Covid-19 pandemic.
- Domestic Passengers grew 22% during the month to 3.24M, while international passengers increased by 73.6% to 1.90M.
- Transit passengers rose by 21.9% to 519K.
- The private airport operator said its February cargo volume remained unchanged Y/Y.
- Aircraft movements increased 24.1% Y/Y.
