Corteva ( NYSE: CTVA ) +1.8% pre-market Tuesday after unveiling plans for the commercial launch of its herbicide tolerant trait technology Optimum GLY canola for farmers, in time for this year's planting season.
The company said the product will be offered for commercial planting in the U.S. and Canada through Corteva Agriscience seed brands Pioneer and Brevant; a full launch also is expected in Australia in 2024.
Corteva ( CTVA ) also said it plans to broadly out-license Optimum GLY herbicide tolerance technology "to provide farmers more flexibility and choice of herbicide tolerant canola hybrids."
Corteva's ( CTVA ) Q4 results are "decent, but disinflation will likely slow down growth as the company relies heavily on pricing," Felix Fung writes in an analysis published recently on Seeking Alpha .
