- The acquisition is expected to close prior to the open of business on Tuesday, according to a a Nasdaq notice. The Nasdaq notice comes after Coupa ( COUP ) shareholders on Thursday voted to approve the $6.2 billion sale to Thoma Bravo.
- A Coupa Software ( COUP ) representative earlier on Friday told Seeking Alpha in an email that South Africa was the last remaining approval needed for the deal. The company doesn't need CFIUS approval for the transaction.
- Coupa Software ( COUP ) in December agreed to sell itself to private equity firm Thoma Bravo for $8 billion including debt, or $81 a share.
