We last gave Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Global Dividend Income Fund ( ETG ) a look earlier this year . At that time, we were comparing it against its very similar sister fund, Eaton Vance Tax-Advantaged Global Dividend Opportunities Fund ( ETO ). Of the Eaton Vance equity closed-end fund suite of funds, these are the most similar funds with limited differences between them.
Since our last update, ETG has mostly performed in line with the broader S&P 500 Index on a total return basis. That also includes the April pullback that the market experienced but swiftly bounced off of pushing to new all-time highs....
