- Expro Group ( NYSE: XPRO ) said it signed a five-year Well Intervention and Integrity contract with TotalEnergies EP Uganda for a multi-well Tilenga project.
- The company noted that a key part of it getting a contract worth over $30M for slickline services was its ability to provide an environmental solution to help the client's carbon reduction goals, and Expro's commitment to national recruitment in line with a local development plan, working with TotalEnergies and the Petroleum Authority of Uganda (PAU).
- The work will start in in Q2 and Expro will initially help with drilling activity followed by production optimization, integrity and well workover support.
- The Tilenga project includes six fields, with over 400 wells planned across multiple pads. Drilling will start this year and continue for five years, according to the company.
