Fathom Nickel CEO Ian Fraser joined SteveDarling from to share positive news about the company's GochagerLake Project. The time domain electromagnetic (TDEM) and boreholeelectromagnetic (BHEM) geophysical programs conducted by the companyhave yielded encouraging results.
The TDEM survey, covering approximately 1 square kilometre, identified a moderate-strength zone of conductivity directly above thehistoric Gochager Lake deposit. This conductive trend extends bothsouthwest and northeast of the deposit area. Additionally, newlyidentified zones of conductivity have been discovered to the north,north-northeast, and east-southeast of the Gochager Lake deposit area.
Fraser also informed Proactiveabout the second phase of BHEM surveys, which utilized multiple loopconfigurations to change coupling angles for each hole surveyed, resulting in a better imaging of the conductivity zones. The surveyrevealed at least four separate conductive zones in the vicinity ofthe company's Q1-2023 drilling, with some lying outside thehistorical Gochager Lake deposit.
With this promising new data in hand, Fathom Nickel is eager toreturn to the site in August for another round of drilling. Thepositive results from the geophysical programs indicate the potentialfor further exploration and the possibility of expanding the knownmineralization at the Gochager Lake Project.
The company'scommitment to exploring and understanding the geological potential ofthe area signifies a proactive approach in its pursuit of valuablemineral resources. As Fathom Nickel moves forward with additionaldrilling, it aims to unlock the full potential of the Gochager LakeProject and create value for its stakeholders.
