- Fidelity National Information Services ( NYSE: FIS ) named two new independent directors to its board, part of its commitment to maintain "an optimal mix of director skills and tenures to drive shareholder value," the company said Friday.
- Lee Adrean, who served as chief financial officer for Equifax from 2006 to 2014, and Mark Benjamin, the CEO of Nuance Communications, join the board as of Jan. 20.
- With the new directors FIS now has five directors appointed within the past two years, including its CEO, Stephanie Ferris.
- The moves comes after the company in December reached an agreement with shareholder D.E. Shaw Group and started a strategic review of its operations and structure.
