GAL used a round of reverse circulation (RC)drilling to test the new sulphide zone, which returned an 11-metreinterval of 0.21 g/t 3E (platinum, palladium and gold combined), 0.18%copper, 0.13% nickel and 0.03% cobalt from 61 metres down hole, with ahigher-grade component of 1-metre at 0.68 g/t 3E, 0.51% copper, 0.44%nickel and 0.07% cobalt from 68 metres.
“The first assays from our most recentexploration drilling program have painted a very positive picture ofthe Jimberlana prospect,” Underwood said.
“We have identified asignificant sulphide zone on the margin of an ultramafic rock unitwhich is open down dip and along strike in all directions.
“This is an excellent geological locationfor the potential discovery of economic mineralisation and follow-updrill holes are now being planned.”
