There's an article currently published on Scottrade titled “Wanna Make a Radical Shift? Be Careful Changing Investing Styles.” The article dubs the itch to change strategies as the “grass is always greener” syndrome. In early 2016, my investment club purposely transitioned toward a DGI (dividend growth investing) strategy. We wanted to boost our annual income. As well, we wanted our income to grow year to year. The change is more a reflection of our maturation as opposed to reacting to an itch to switch.
