GTI Energy Ltd(ASX:GTR) executive director Bruce Lane tells Proactive the companyhas completed the data acquisition phase of a series of aerialgeophysical surveys over its Wyoming in-situ recovery (ISR) uraniumprojects, specifically Lo Herma, Green Mountain and Loki West. Thedata includes detailed radiometric, magnetic and electromagneticinformation which will allow GTI to refine targets for drillingprograms. Final interpretations by the company are expected to beavailable in September.
Wyoming’s Department of Environmental Quality’s LandQuality Division also approved the release of a A$489,099 drillingbond back to the company.
GTI recently declared the maiden uranium resource at the LoHerma Project in Wyoming’s prolific Powder River Basin uraniumproduction district.
The mineralresource estimate (MRE) assumes mining by in-situ recovery (ISR)methods and is reported at a cut-off grade of 200 ppm U3O8 (triuraniumoctoxide) and a minimum grade thickness (GT) of 0.2 per mineralisedhorizon as: 4.12 million tonnes of mineralisation at an average gradeof 630 ppm U3O8 for 5.71 million pounds (Mlbs) of U3O8 containedmetal.
