- The dominant brand in Puerto Rico is Toyota, which was down 13% and lost 0.7% market share.
- The biggest market share gain came from the #2 brand, Hyundai, which was down only 5% and as a result gained a full percentage point in market share.
- Ford was the only brand of the major players which managed to be flat for the year, causing it to gain 0.8% market share.
- The nameplate which contributed the most incrementally in 2020 to catapult Hyundai’s PR market share was the Venue, which constituted a whopping 14% of its entire U.S. sales number.
