- Ivanhoe Mines ( OTCQX:IVPAF ) said Monday that its Kamoa-Kakula mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo produced 333,497 tons of copper in concentrate in 2022.
- Kamoa-Kakula's 2022 production achievement represents a year-over-year increase of 215%, the company said
- The company forecasts 2023 annual production of Kamoa-Kakula between 390,000 to 430,000 tons of copper in concentrate, following the anticipated completion of the debottlenecking program early in the second quarter of 2023.
- Debottlenecking at the mine is over 90% complete and will increase annual production rate to 450,000 tons, Ivanhoe said.
