Lindian ResourcesLtd (ASX:LIN, OTC:LINIF) CEO Alistair Stephens tells Proactive thedrill rigs are back at the Kangankunde Rare Earths Project in Malawifor an infill drill program designed to convert some of the inferredresources into the indicated category. A feasibility study for theproject is on track for release for Q1 next year. Meanwhile, thecompany has secured important confirmation of the nature of rare earthelement (REE) concentrate from the project with the Australian NuclearScience and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) not considering it to beradioactive for transport services.
“Having confirmation from ANSTO Minerals, thehighly regarded Australian Government nuclear science and technologyorganisation, that the rare earth concentrate from Kangankunde is notclassified as radioactive for transport purposes (ie Class 7) is verysignificant for the project,” Stephens said.
