Lindian Resources Ltd(ASX:LIN, OTC:LINIF) CEO Alistair Stephens tells Proactive the firstdeep diamond drill hole in the company's phase two program atKangankunde in Malawi has hit an "astonishing" 854 metres ofmineralisation grading 2.73% total rare earth oxides (TREO),indicating that the high-grade rare earth mineralisation continues todepth.
Within thisis an intersection of 554.6 metres at 2.52% TREO from 351 metres, demonstrating consistent mineralisation and high grades atconsiderable depths and over remarkably broad intercepts.Mineralisation was found from the beginning to the end of the drillhole and the western boundary of the mineralisation was extended 100metres westward. These results will be included in the upcoming maidenmineral resource estimate, set to be released in the comingdays.
“The assayresults from this drill hole are stunning and confirm thatKangankunde’s minersalisation extends at least 850 metresvertically. The consistency of mineralisation is astonishing,”Stephens said.
“This assay intervalis one of Lindian’s most material developments and undoubtedlyestablishes Kangankunde as one of the greatest, most significant andunique rare earths projects in the world, underpinned by excellentgrade and uniquely non-radioactive.”
