- Music-focused digital media name LiveOne ( NASDAQ: LVO ) has commented on its filing for listing its PodcastOne ( PODC ) unit, saying the division is expected to post revenues of $25M for the first nine months of fiscal 2023 (ending this Saturday).
- For its last fiscal year, ended March 31, the podcast publisher posted a net loss of $4M no revenues of $32M.
- "LiveOne remains committed to spinning-out PodcastOne as a separate public company to be listed on a national exchange," the company said, adding that it moved the record date for PodcastOne's special dividend to LiveOne stockholders to Jan. 16, 2023.
- "In addition, LiveOne intends to explore spinning out SlackerOne as a separate public company during its 2024 fiscal year," LiveOne said.
- LiveOne was up 3.7% Thursday afternoon. Recent analysis from Wall Street considers it a Strong Buy, while Seeking Alpha's Quant Ratings mark it as a Sell .
