Canada’s prolific %GoldTriangle is home to some of Western Canada’s largest gold discoveries and this company is beginning to drill as it looks for gold and silver.
Mineral exploration company %OptimumVentures () announced the start of drilling at its Harry Project located within the Golden Triangle near Stewart, BC, in its press release. Situated within a 200 kilometre long northwest trending corridor, the Harry Project hosts numerous high-grade gold occurrences and discoveries and is strategically located between Ascot Resources Ltd.’s Premier Mine and Newcrest Mining’s Brucejack Mine.
This season’s program is planned to test several new zones discovered earlier this year during prospecting, mapping and, in some instances, Shaw shallow surface drilling. Some early results were released by the Company in September, indicating gold and silver values occur in every zone.
The initial drilling campaign is planned and financed for 2,500 metres and is scheduled to test multiple zones of gold-silver bearing poly-metallic sulphide mineralization where surface prospecting coupled with surface exposure
Shares were trading at $0.29 in morning trade.
