- Molina Healthcare ( NYSE: MOH ) said on Wednesday it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire medicaid managed care organization, My Choice Wisconsin, for about $150M, to expand its medicaid managed long-term care presence into Wisconsin.
- As of May 2022, My Choice Wisconsin served over 44,000 managed long-term services and supports and core Medicaid members throughout Wisconsin, and delivered about $1B in premium revenue.
- The transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to Molina’s adjusted earnings per share, the company said.
- Molina intends to fund the purchase with cash on hand and expects the deal to close in 2022.
