Murchison Minerals VP of Exploration JohnShmyr joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share the start of anextensive geophysical survey at the company's BMK Project inSaskatchewan.
This initiative marksthe start of Fixed Loop Transient Electromagnetic and BoreholeElectromagnetic Surveys, techniques which are instrumental in mappingsub-surface mineral deposits.
Shmyrexplained to Proactive that the primary aim of conducting thesesophisticated surveys is to accumulate high-resolution geophysicaldata. This data is crucial for the identification of a copper-richstockwork zone and for discovering new lenses of sulphidemineralization within the BMK Deposit.
The insights gleaned from these surveys will be pivotal infine-tuning the CST target area. This preparation is key as it setsthe stage for a diamond drilling program planned for the winter of2024.
The CST target, which is anarea of interest due to its promising conductive properties and itsproximity—merely 400 meters south—to the BMK Deposit, mirrors thedeposit in size and conductive strength. Notably, this target has notbeen subjected to drilling before, positioning it as a compelling newfrontier for exploration within Murchison Minerals' portfolio.
The anticipated drilling endeavors aim to delve into thisunexplored territory, potentially unlocking new resources andcontributing to the company's growth in the sector.
