- The New Hampshire House of Representatives approved legislation Thursday that legalizes marijuana with hardly any regulations or restrictions.
- The bill remove marijuana from the state's controlled substances list. It also removes provisions in statutes that apply criminal penalties for cannabis offenses, Marijuana Moment reported.
- Also, those under the age of 18 who are caught with marijuana would face a substance misuse assessment. Those between 18 and 21 would face a simple possession violation.
- It would also allow individuals with past cannabis convictions or pending cases as to have their records annulled .
- Last month, the House passed another marijuana bill co-sponsored by its Republican majority leader that has more restrictions in it.
