Northrop Grumman ( NYSE: NOC ) said adjusted earnings jumped 25% from a year earlier to $7.50 a share in Q4, beating the consensus estimate of $6.57. Its stock was littled changed in premarket trading.
The aerospace and defense company said sales rose 16% to $10 billion.
The company’s space systems helped drive growth with a 23% jump in sales to $3.28 billion in Q4. Defense systems revenue rose 20% to $1.66 billion while mission systems sales expanded 16% to $2.9 billion.
The company estimated adjusted earnings for fiscal 2023 will be in a range of $21.85 to $22.45 a share on $38 billion to $38.4 billion in revenue.
