- NV5 Global ( NASDAQ: NVEE ) said Tuesday it acquired Red Technologies , which provides IT and utility infrastructure services for mission critical data centers.
- The deal amount was not disclosed, but NV5 ( NVEE ) acquired Red Technologies with a combination of cash and stock and will be immediately accretive to its earnings.
- Red Technologies clients include large international technology and financial services companies.
- "Red Technologies' IT and utility infrastructure design and implementation services complement NV5's ( NVEE ) existing MEP design and commissioning services," said CEO Dickerson Wright.
- Red Technologies has deployed projects in Australia, China, India, Japan, Korea, and throughout Southeast Asia.
- The company partnered with NV5 ( NVEE ) on past and current projects, and will provide NV5 access to new international clients in the data center market.
- With this acquisition, NV5 ( NVEE ) now has over 250 employees in the Asia Pacific region.
- Earlier, NV5 ( NVEE ) gained on a report that it's exploring a potential sale.
