- Osisko Mining released an updated resource estimate for its Windfall Project this week, with the total gold resource climbing further into world-class status, above 6.0 million ounces.
- Even more impressive, the grade of the deposit has continued to improve, with the average measured/indicated grade coming in at 9.60 grams per tonne gold.
- While gold juniors are currently not in vogue, Osisko Mining is now sitting on one of the largest resources in Canada, with grade being a massive differentiator relative to peers.
- Based on continued resource growth and the immense size of Windfall in a jurisdiction where 5 million-ounce deposits are rare, I continue to see the stock as a top takeover target.
