Owens & Minor: An Extreme Reached Amid Disastrous Results (Rating Upgrade)

Owens & Minor, Inc. ( OMI ) has been a disastrous performer over the past year, losing about 70% of its value. In a situation where there only ever seems to be incremental bad news, investors were slammed with horrendous Q2 results and guidance Monday morning, sending the stock down 33%. I have been consistently bearish on OMI, questioning the viability of its capital structure, and I reiterated a sell in February . Since then, OMI has lost half of its value.
