Plains All American Pipeline ( NASDAQ: PAA ) said on Tuesday it is exploring an expansion of its Fort Saskatchewan facility with strategic partners that would add 50K bbl/day of fractionation capacity.
Plains ( PAA ) said the expansion would leverage existing infrastructure while maintaining the flexibility to deliver a propane/butane mix to its fractionation facility in Sarnia, Ontario.
Citing Plains' improving balance sheet and increased confidence in higher volumes, analysts at Stifel this week upgraded Plains All American Pipeline and Plains GP Holdings to Buy .
